 If you’re looking for the ultimate one or two night camping adventure, Back Country Tours offers this once in a lifetime convoy of automatic ATVs and or hummer driving across the great Canadian Shield through rivers, streams, brooks and valleys with family and/or friends! Drive on century old horse and wagon trails through deep woods conditions to reach your campsite by a natural spring-fed lake that can only be accessed by “all terrain” vehicles. Everyone from beginners to well seasoned campers are welcomed to join this exciting outdoor adventure. If you own your own ATV you’re welcome to come along!
You’ll get to go where most Canadians never get to go….deep into Haliburton’s back country forest. At the end of your first day you’ll enjoy some down time to do what you want like swimming, tanning, or enjoying some of the best fishing around!
So picture yourself with your partner, family or friends camping at the end of an exciting day in front of a lake under a blanket of stars by a roaring fire before you awake the next day to hit the trails again!
Convoy’s Route
This adventure starts from Haliburton Village and then travels to a designated remote campsite.
Safari Convoy Dates of Departure & Return
Meeting Place: Village of Haliburton at either Tracy’s Bistro or McKecks
Day & Time: Safari members must reach designated meeting place on a Monday at 11:00am sharp. We return back to the meeting place on a Tuesday afternoon.

Safari Convoy 1 or 2 Night Camping Package Fee
- Pricing including automatic ATV rental with guide $400.00/person
- For 2 nights $800.00/person
- Own ATV with guide $200.00/person
- Minimum Age Requirement- 14 and older
- We supply food and tents

Safari Convoy Bookings
All convoys must be booked at least 3-4 weeks in advance. A nonrefundable deposit of 50% of convoy cost per person is required upon booking. The remaining fee is to be paid to guide on arrival for safari convoy.
